God in his infinite wisdom saw fit to remove from this earthly life Ms. Vernell G. Grant age 82 of Knightdale, NC who transitioned from this earthly life on Saturday, March 17, 2018.

Ms.Grant is survived by her two daughters: Evangelist Marjorie Smith of Hartsville, SC; Mildred Wyche of Knightdale, NC; two sons: Charles Grant (Shelia) of Knightdale, NC; Merlin Grant of Knightdale, NC; five granddaughters: Erma Goodson (Deatrice) of Hartsville, SC; Marjorie Davis (Robert) of Blythewood, SC; Carol Smith of Columbia, SC; Sabrina Grant of Knightdale, NC; Sharnell Grant of Knightdale, NC; three grandsons: Adrian Smith (Kiyanna) of Spencer, NC; Marques Smith Sr. of Columbia, SC; Merlin Grant-Flounory of Michigan; three sisters: Shirley Wiggins of Wendell, NC; Frances Walker of Wake Forest, NC; Joyce Thomas (Bill) of Wake Forest, NC; one brother: Roy Lee Gill (Marjorie) of Wendell, NC; one sister-in-law: Alice Faye Hardeman (Jay); two bother-in-laws Abby Lowell Arkdie (Sue), James Arkdie (Jeanie); a adopted sister; Cora Tapp; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Viewing of Love and Remembrance to be held Friday, March 23, 2018 in the Chapel of Richard Harris Funeral Home. Viewing beginning at 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

Homegoing Celebration to be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the edifice of New Bethel Baptist Church 605 East Young Street Rolesville, North Carolina 27571. Services beginning at 2:00 P.M.
